'Cylchred' is from a series of prints I have made which are inspired by Cors Caron wetland nature reserve near Tregaron. I have found this place particularly interesting as a printmaker as I enjoy the contrast of the structural elements of the reeds, grasses and willow with the fluidity and movement of the water and the changing light and weather.
In this print I am exploring the feeling of moving through cycles, from the circular walk taken around the landscape to the orbit of this planet around the sun and the dynamic nature of the landscape as it moves through the seasons.
